Uber is another great and convenient way to get around the city! If you do not already have an Uber account, you will need to simply sign up and download the app. Once the app is downloaded you can begin requesting rides. Numerous car options will be available.

The fee is already listed upon requesting the trip. Your card is on the app and will automatically pay.  You will have the option to tip your driver as well.

Lyft also provides rides in the touch of a button. You can either download the app and create an account or go to Lyft's website to order the ride. It's that simple! Lyft has a variety of transportation options. Not only do they have cars for you but they also offer bikes, scooters and public transit. We recommend keeping your phone near you as Lyft will send you texts with updates on your ride.

NAVIGATING ORLANDO

All modes of transportation are open in Orlando, Orange County and throughout the State of Florida, including air travel at MCO and Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB), rental cars, taxis, ride-share services, and public-transportation providers such as SunRail (commuter rail) and Lynx (buses). Some services are operating with modified service schedules. Additionally, public-transportation providers are employing appropriate social distancing and enhanced sanitation measures to help protect you during your travels.

If you prefer rail travel, Amtrak provides service via its station in downtown Orlando. Our commuter rail service, SunRail, connects key cities along our main corridor.

You can also hop on the fun and affordable I-Ride Trolley, which runs on and around International Drive and costs a maximum of $2 per ride.

AIR

Their primary gateway, Orlando International Airport (MCO), is J.D. Power & Associates’ No. 1 mega airport in the southeastern U.S. for customer satisfaction. It also never stops improving, including recent updates to its ticketing and baggage-handling systems.

Orlando International Airport works with more than 40 scheduled airlines to provide nonstop service from over 150 international and domestic destinations. What’s more, airfares at MCO are among the lowest of the 50 largest airports in the U.S.

Also servicing the area is Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB). It’s located 18 miles northeast of Orlando, approximately 45 minutes from the tourism district.
