With declining interest in the profession of teaching, declining enrollment in teacher training programs and especially high turnover among our minority teachers, we have to act now when it comes to encouraging more minorities and persons of color to enter into the field of teaching and school leadership.

We cannot do it alone and that is where you can help. There are several ways to get involved and support the growth and continuation of the Leon Bradley Scholarship program.
Leon Bradley 50/50 Raffle!
New for 2019 --- 50/50 Raffle!
AASPA will be hosting a 50/50 Raffle during the week of conference October 8-11th, 2019 with your chance to win up to $5000. This fundraiser will benefit the Leon Bradley Scholarship Program, which was established to encourage more minorities or persons of color to enter the field of teaching and school leadership.
Members will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for the 50/50 raffle during conference. One lucky winner will go home with one-half of the net proceeds and the other half will benefit the Leon Bradley Scholarship Program. Don't miss this chance to win big for a good cause!
The tickets will be sold during conference at the registration desk for $10 each.

AASPA awards up to two scholarships to assist a minority college student seeking their initial teaching certification and/or endorsement and up to two scholarships to assist a minority graduate student seeking his/her administrative credential.
